myDBR Team is happy to announce the the availability of myDBR 3.7 release.
myDBR 3.7 is a major release containing support for new server configurations, new features and usability improvements. The release is recommended for all users.
Server support:
- Added support for PHP 5.4
- Added support for Microsoft Drivers for PHP for SQL Server. Windows server no longer need to use FreeTDS.
- Compatibility with Infobright MySQL storage engine
- Support for installations on MySQL servers without InnoDB support
New features:
- Added Google Maps Business support
- Added support for displaying images stored in database
- Time formatting options to charts (hh:mm:ss, negative times)
- Converting times from seconds in charts is also now supported
- Additional formatting options for checkbox parameters
- Cartesian coordinate system chart support added
- Default setting for opening exports into new window
- embed_image, image_format URL variables added
- New optional date and datetime -entry filter
- default_image_format and embed_image URL parameters added
New commands:
- dbr.mail.debug command added to add debug info on sent mails
- dbr.divify command added to use DIV's instead of tables for output
- dbr.header.colclass command added allowing formatting of the headers
- dbr.cellformat command allowing cells in a column to have different format on different rows
Misc improvements:
- Improved Active Directory integration
- Summary lines are calculated with full decimal precision even when column formatting shows less precise values
- Popup windows can be opened in a new browser window
- Popup windows close on esc
- SQL Editor adapts it's initial size based on browser window size
- Forcing Internet Explorer to use standards based formatting for better results
- Allow to deny editing cells with 'no_edit' class
Fixes:
- Handle empty export filenames in Internet Explorer
- Tabs with large amount of data no longer flashes in slow browsers
- Fixed a problem with linked parameters and checkboxes
- Internet Explorer UI fixes
- Improved session error messages for incorrectly configured servers
- Improved handling of empty crosstab report objects
- 'onload' option in dbr.javascript works now in all cases
- Remote server call does not need to have a return value
- A bug with dbr.url referencing report parameters fixed
- Improvements on Excel exports
- Remote call no longer executes twice if no data is shown
- SQL Editor initiation should no longer create problems in Windows servers
