   Hi

   I need to place > 5000 pins on a Google map and all points have lat, long values. Quite a lot of the time I simply get "Generating the map..." and then the maps never loads.

   Is there a limit on how many coordinates can be placed on one map? We are using the standard pins.

   What we really want is to have a Google maps Heatmap layer to use in MyDBR to make it more manageable when looking at a lot of point and the distibution.

   5000 normal pins in Google Maps is bit excessive.

   The Google Maps API v3 added heatmap support and it's in the TODO list for myDBR. The Google Maps extension in myDBR includes full source code if you want to take a look at it before we do.
