I had mydbr on my server. was working properly.
With the new release of mydbr it has not let me login.

I wanted to know how to make the upgrade to mydbr without changing the record in the database.
Please tell me the steps to do so.

What is the problem that you have with the login? Any messages/errors? What steps have you completed?

    Upgrading from previous version includes:

    1. Update the database. Run the included database scripts.
    2. Update the myDBR application by replacing the PHP-files on your web server.

After this you should be able to log in. If you have made changes to default values on the application (on php-files), copy the changes to the new version.

myDBR update does not alter the user data on the database. The update procedure only updates myDBR's internal data structure leaving user data (including reports, logins etc) intact.

    Sorry to be bothering you.
I ran the script mydbr_mysql_drop_pre_1_2_triggers 'and then the script mydbr_create_mysql'.
Then I copied and replaced all the files and folders in the new version to my server.
I went to the browser and appeared to form settings.

I think that should not be the way it is done.
    What files to update?
Can you explain step by step how to do it, please?

Or is there any way to disable the update?

I told all my colleagues of your reports and everyone loved it, nothing else was to be expected.

myDBR will be a success here in Portugal!

Please help me on this issue.

Yes, this is correct. Now you have updated the reporting database structure and the myDBR application. Just make sure that the web server is able to access all the myDBR files on the server. Set the owner of the files to be the web server.

I went to the browser and appeared to form settings.

First time after the update you will be greeted by a Insall-form where you enter the login credentials (stored in config.php-file). Now that you have replaced the config-file with the new one, myDBR just asks for the admin username and password. All the data and existing login information in preserved in the update.

Or is there any way to disable the update?

myDBR 1.2 is a mandatory update, so there is no way to disable the update.

myDBR will be a success here in Portugal!

Glad you like it. Let see that you get through the update procedure.

    Thank you!

    Is already solved!

About the licenses, we can ask them as many times as you want, right?

Can we install myDBR on a company?

There is no limitation on the licenses. You are free to install the software for your own use.
