   I am not able to work with parametric option in Mydbr with above setup. has anybody experienced this. Is something extra required for parameters to work

   First thing to check is your FreeTDS configuration. If you do not have one, FreeTDS uses old protocol version which is bit compatible with SQL Server 2012.
