   Hi Everyone,

   Docs state that Sybase ASE 15 and up is supported. We have an ERP system on ASE 9 with horrible reporting. We want to try mydbr for reporting yet our DB is on ASE 9.

   I understand it is not supported, but would we even be able to use mydbr without support?

   Could you check again your Sybase version as there never was a version 9 of ASE. As a background, Sybase went from 4.9 to 10 in order to differentiate from Microsoft SQL Server which was back then based on Sybase 4.X codebase.

   Just run select @@version to check the version.

   We have not tested Sybase versions prior 15.0.2 (which was released back ib 2007) but changes to database server interfaces or system tables that myDBR uses have not been that big over the years (=compatibility has been good).
