I've been developing on a VM on my laptop. I've finally got my for real home up, and will be moving the license over. Can I just use mysqldump to move the mydbr database over to the new machine? I've got a fresh mydbr install up on the new machine already.

If you are moving the whole installation, you can do it by doing a backup using mysqldump. Just make sure you include the routines to the backup as they are not by default included.
When you restore the backup, make sure the DEFINER matches with the new installation.
