Group totals with ability to hide or show detail like SQL Server Reporting Services

I am trying to move a user from SQL Server Reporting Services to MyDBR. They love the feature in SSRS where the initial report shows just the group totals, but they have a plus sign over on the left side that allows them to expand and show the detail. Then, when they decide to export to Excel, *all* the rows export.
I can see in MyDBR how to hide and show columns, but not the detail.
Is this something that can be done in MyDBR? If so, does anyone have an example? I would be quite willing to pay for some consulting to help address this.

    Thanks - Phil

myDBR will do, by default, the same content regardeless of the format.

If you want the HTML version of the report to show different content than the Excel report, you could do a report that shows the content in summary level with drill-down to the detail and when doing the Excel version, just do the full detail version directly. You can detect the report being Excel version with the automatic parameter.

    See a demo.

If you want help how to do that efficiently, contact support via email.
