   In any case, I will give the echart-extension a shot. Do I need a premium version license to play around with echart-extension/ChartDirector?

   No timetable yet for the next release.

   Added charts will be Premium only features since Community version does not include the ChartDirector license. For the echart you also need Premium license for the same reason.
