I'm using the datetime picker as a report parameter and noticed something today that seems to cause confusion with users of the datetime picker that might be improvable.
With the month and year drop-down selectors at the top, if a user wishes to change the month or year, but not the date, they usually just change the month/year (which changes the month shown) but don't re-select the date on the calendar. They then press 'done', having changed the month/year only, but it doesn't actually change in the value box: it seems they have to re-select the date on the calendar.
It would be much more 'intuitive' if when a year/month is changed but no new day of the month is selected, the value is updated with this new month/year and keeps the day as before.
