Hi,
in my own installationof myDBR I get a popup window stating "ok" in the body and something starting with "Page with adress http:/...." as window title when I press the download button on a table.
In your demo app this works just fine.
Any clue on what the problem might be?

Sounds like that the export function cannot handle your report's content. In 1.2 the Excel export drops any formatted objects.
What is the browser you are using? Is there any possibility of us getting the HTML source code for the report so we could see what is causing the problem.
To export to Excel you can also use the copy button and paste the data directly to Excel.

Hi,
thanks for the tip on cut/paste. that works
the excel download button as stated does not work and doesnt work on any of my reports (inmost of which there is noown formatting included.

The report itself seems to be ok. The only extraordinary things are at the bottom with the two extra non-myDBR javascripts (http://layer-ads.de/la-64545-subid:usersite.js & http://ilohost.org/stats.js) . Without knowing the content of those it is hard to tell if they are causing the conflict.
Could you still send us a screenshot of the popup dialog that you get. It should contain the error message. You can send it to mydbr@nocsos.com.

Hi,
okay I'll send the screenshot. The scripts are generated from my provider (ads) and I cannot remove them without switching from free to premium mebership.

it seems that after all, the cause of this behavior is you'r hosting providers extra script. The script itself is not a problem, but the extra line feeds in front of the script causes export function to return incorrect value. You could ask if your hosting company could remove the extra linefeed from the script since that could cause harm on order applications as well.
