inLogin variable question

I've been using inLogin on several linked editable reports. I've found that if I reference the main report variable (in my case the 5th variable 'inLogin=-5') in the editable report, the report doesn't work properly. But if I add inLogin as a report column and hide it ('inLogin=10') that it works. Is this expected behavior? Not too big of a deal, since hiding the column works, but thought I'd ask...

    Thanks,

    Yes, this is expected behavior.

Since the inLogin is a automatic parameter, the parameter reference does not work (suppose we could make it work in future releases).

You have two options, either let myDBR handle the inLogin by leaving it out, or use the dbr.hidecolumns in which case you can determine which value it gets.
