Hi
Having a problem understanding the installation instructions.
Is this application designed for use on a local host or can it be installed on a remote host, ie my web hosting company?
It is just that in the instructions it refers to localhost.
If it is a remote host then I assume all the installation takes place on the remote host.
Also my host is using Mysql version 4.1.22(patched). I assume therefore I cannot use myDBR?
Thanks
Garry

You can install myDBR on any host, local or hosted. All installations are done on server, no installations are required for the clients.

Yes.

myDBR requires MySQL 5 to operate. It takes use of features introduced in 5.x.
Most of the hosting companies offer new MySQL 5.x databases alongside old 4.x version. You could check if an option of using 5.x database is available for you. MySQL 5.x is much improved over the old 4.x.
