Is there any way to speed up the Excel import? I'm experiencing some slowness when I click on Excel/PDF/CSV in the downloads section, between the selection and the download pop-up opening. Is there a recommended solution?

This depends on the report in question. The content needs to be generated before the actual download can begin. If you have a larger report, this may take more time.
Out of these export formats, CSV is the fastest and depends only on the report itself. Excel’s file format is more complex, and PDF is generated by an external program, so those take more resources and time.
Overall, the biggest contributing factor is the report's complexity and the amount of data being exported. Optimizing the report will help.
