We are excited to announce that myDBR 1.4.0 release is now available. myDBR 1.4.0 is a mandatory release for all users.

Premium licenses which include extended support, 12 month subscription period and embedded ChartDirector license, are now available for purchase from myDBR.com website. A free community release continues to be available as before. We do hope that you find myDBR useful and will support our work by acquiring a Premium license.

    New features:

    • Direct access to reports via URL (bookmarking and embedding of reports is now possible)
    • Ability to publish reports that do not require user login
    • myDBR SQL Editor allows direct report authoring inside myDBR
    • Navigation of reports using browser's back and forward buttons
    • Multiseries charts is now even easier to use. This will require small changes to existing reports.

In addition, all bugs reported for previous version have been fixed.

Update is available through update wizard or as a direct download.

    Happy reporting,

After upgrading the Date Picker no longer appears to work -- even when creating new reports.

We'll take a look what may cause this.

All our tests seems to pass with all the tested browsers.

What is the browser and version you are using and what are exactly the symptoms? Are you using date or datetime datatype?

firefox (3.5, on linux) is the browser, I've also tested with safari (latest w/snow leapord) and opera (10) (also on OS-X/SL) and both fail as well.

I have a stored procedure with vStartDate and vEndDate parameters, both of type 'DATE'. I have three pre-existing reports, and one new one that I created since the upgrade. Prior to the upgrade I saw the date-picker icon, and could select dates without issue. Now that I have upgraded, I don't see the date-picker icon at all, and entering the date manually results in an error ("*Check fields marked red for input error" with both date fields marked red).

All of these have additional pop-up style options which are from db queries, and these work fine.

Found it. It's choking on the fact that I had 'DATE' in all caps.

    Yes,
myDBR indeed expects that input parameters are all lower case. It should accept parameters in any caps. We will fix this for the next release.

    Hello,

Sad to see you have chosen to seperate it into two versions and still only offer 1 month "community licenses". I really liked it, now i must consider changing due to the stiff price of 129euro. Will it be possible to keep running myDBR on community license for a good while to come or is the community edition basically a 1 month trial which you cannot renew?

Another thing, could have kept the "OK" button inside reports aswell even though the back button now works.

You can renew the Community license multiple times and use that version if you choose to do so. We do hope that users might consider Premium version, since that would help us to offer the product and support for all.

We actually went bit back and forth with this one. Decided to drop it at the end while emphasizing more the web-like interface.
