I have a situation where a single server could be referenced by one of the following methods

    • IP Address
    • hostname.internaldomain.corp
    • hostname.externaldomain.com

Depending on where you are on the network you use the correct address.

How can myDBR licensing work with this? In all cases it is the same server.

    Regards

myDBR requieres a license for different host names / IP-addresses you are using when you access the server.

I'm not sure about the this, the documentation states

"myDBR requires a license for each server it is addressed from."

In all cases I am using the same server. I really need to be able to resolve from the different locations I have.

myDBR license is for each installed myDBR installation on server. The server is identified by the host name.
