I see in the docs references to authenticating using LDAP but nowhere in admin panel do I see LDAP as an option. Is this a premium only feature or simply MIA because it is incomplete?
Second related question: I do see an option to use a "user defined application" for authentication. However I cannot seem to conjure up the documentation on how to write an app that myDBR could use.

We are doing an overhaul to the authentication options in myDBR to allow external authentication and to allow easier integration in cases where myDBR is used as an embedded reporting engine. No dates yet, but this is work in progress.
Currently myDBR allows authentication through direct database, myDBR's own authentication. There is also an internal option to use user defined application authentication. This choice is left undocumented, since the method and the API will change.
